Northbrook and its surrounding towns have enough to see and do, however, that you won't find yourself needing to go into Chicago often.

Employees at eTech360 are fortunate enough to be about a 10 minute drive away from the oldest outdoor music festival in the country. The concerts and other performances held at the Ravinia Festival from June to September each year are the highlight of the summer. Pat Metheny, Sammy Hagar, Diana Krall, Aretha Franklin, Sheryl Crow, The Moody Blues and The Beach Boys are just a sampling of the talent and musical legends that perform at this amazing venue.

If golf is your thing, the Sunset Ridge Country Club has an 18-hole course just two and a half miles away. This huge course was founded in 1923, and a renovation a little over a decade ago has it in prime condition for your golf game.

For those who prefer throwing a ball at some pins rather than hitting a ball with a club, <>Pinstripes is close by. Between throwing strikes and spares at their bowling alley, you can enjoy their Italian-American cuisine from their indoor or outdoor seating, or have a seat at the bar. They have special pricing for kid's bowling, so the whole family can enjoy the fun.

There are plenty of options for seeing a movie or show at a theater. For a more modern experience where you can watch the latest releases, there is the AMC Dine-In Northbrook Court 14, which enables you to catch a movie and a meal. The Landmark Renaissance Cinema shows modern releases as well but adds foreign and independent films into the mix to expand your options. For a live performing arts experience, it is hard to beat the Writers Theatre. The open environment and natural lighting of this beautiful facility accentuate the plays and performances that unfold before you.
